This is the first wellness app Iโve kept using because the check-in takes less than a minute and still tells me something useful.

Born from the frustrations of living with Parkinson's

Group classes help - when you can get to them. But Parkinson's doesn't pause for travel, bad days, or cancelled sessions [7]. There should be something reliable outside of the clinic too.
Simple by design. Powerful over time.

How your days could look like with Mr Steady
See how it works better when everyone is involved.
The edge Ever Steady has over anything else you use

Your fitness watch captures steps, active minutes, heart rate and sleep - automatically. No forms. No navigation. Ever Steady sees what you did and simply asks: "Shall I log that?" Logging goes from a chore to a tap.

Patterns emerge: when you're most likely to exercise, which environments work, the sessions you enjoy more. Ever Steady uses this to adapt goals, suggest the right activity at the right time, and displays them to you in plain language.

Ever Steady doesn't diagnose or prescribe. It listens, learns, and reports - giving your clinical team a richer picture of your life between appointments, while keeping them firmly in the loop.

Aliya met Dr. Pyke in his lecture on Parkinson's.
At the end of it she proposed technical ideas for the future of care that tied with the clinical expertise and rigour from Wesley's background.
His ongoing research focuses on non-pharmacological interventions for neurological conditions and his clinical role at PCIT equips him with deep understanding of the challenges that come with Parkinson's.
It was a no-brainer to join and create something helpful.
The first feasibility trial was funded by UKRI's MRC impact grant, co-designed with Patient & Public Involvement (PPI), where PCIT members and clinicians weighed in for the 8-week study. Findings validated conversational logging, personalised coaching, and exercise motivation significantly.
Study writeup is in progress for publication; subscribe to be the first to hear.
The second pilot. Ever Steady now integrates Garmin / Fitbit wearable data with behavioural logging and Mr Steady's adaptive coaching.
Objective metrics (steps, HRV, sleep, active minutes) combine with patient-reported experience for a holistic picture. Recruiting participants for free trial now โ
The third research phase adds a computer vision module - gait analysis and exercise form feedback, without a clinician in the room. Paired with the Move + Think dual-task training protocol, which combines movement with cognitive challenge, this becomes a genuine research intervention rather than a coaching feature.
Mr Steady sees, listens, and adapts. The data gets richer. The picture of what's happening gets clearer.
Successful feasibility data opens the NHS pathway - trust partnerships, clinical commissioning, and integration into standard neurological care between appointments.
Beyond Parkinson's, the model applies wherever exercise adherence, fatigue, motivation, and clinical oversight intersect: stroke rehabilitation, cardiac rehab, COPD, cancer survivorship. The architecture doesn't change. The condition does.
Ever Steady becomes the infrastructure, not just the app.
If you're a researcher, investor or NHS clinician, we'd love to partner.
Is this a medical device?
No. Ever Steady is a research and wellness tool for exercise. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace your clinical team. Your clinician remains in charge of your care.
Who sees my data?
Only you and the research team - and only the data you authorise. Your clinical team receives structured summaries. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties.
What if I have a bad week?
Mr Steady doesn't judge. He's been designed specifically to respond to hard days with encouragement rather than pressure. Rest days are built in. Goals adjust. Progress is measured against your own baseline, not anyone else's.
When does the pilot start?
Our first pilot was a success and version two is being built based on feedback. We're also building the participant group now. Leave your details and we'll be in touch as soon as we're ready to welcome you.
